Pop Culture as much as we might like to deny it pop culture does affect everyone. Whether it is how we dress, how much make-up we wear, what we eat, or how we are "supposed" to look. I think that pop culture possesses so much power over the world because of how wrapped up in what everyone else thinks. If Nina Dobrev wears it best or Taylor Lautner looks the leading male image it then shapes what we think the normal image should be. We wear the same clothes the same hair styles; we basically all have the same look and those few individuals that don’t are the odd ones out the ‘freaks’. We want to look trendy and stylish so we wear what the celebrities and what everyone else is wearing. Men are under as much pressure as women to look a certain way. They are told to look bulk and toned. People say that "first impressions are everything" but does that mean the way you look? Now a day about 85-95% of a first impression is about what you are wearing or how much make-up you are wearing and not so much about our personalities and who you really are anymore.
